May 24, 2011 – There are many issues that can “muddy the waters” when it comes to health care decision making, according to Dr. Steven Pearson, ICER’s President. The National Pharmaceutical Council interviewed Dr. Pearson about the kinds of comparative effectiveness research studies needed to make sound decisions, how to ask the right kinds of questions, and how to go about developing a robust body of evidence. Dr. Pearson spoke at the ISPOR 2011 Annual Meeting.
