Abigail Wright, PhD, MSc

Research Scientist

Abigail joined ICER in 2021 as a Senior Research Lead – Evidence Synthesis, and was promoted to Research Scientist in 2023. Prior to joining ICER, Abigail worked as a Research Fellow, and later as an Instructor, in the Department of Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital where she was involved in the design and implementation of several research studies and analysis of observational and clinical trial data. During this time, Abigail conducted a research study that incorporated digital momentary assessments of mental health symptoms and cognitive functioning and was involved in the design of a psychosocial intervention aimed to improve outcomes for individuals with serious mental illness. She also worked on several systematic reviews and meta-analyses examining mechanisms and interventions in mental health and has published peer-reviewed publications in this space.

Abigail has a PhD in Psychology and Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from University of Sussex (UK) and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Oxford Brookes University (UK). In her spare time, Abigail can be found either outside in her running gear enjoying the Boston scenery, inside baking classic British treats, or captured in an exciting book!
