Dr. Johnson is a clinical pharmacist who works with an acute care general internal medicine team at the University Hospital in Little Rock since 2004. She provides clinical support for the Evidence-based Prescription Drug Program, a service division within the UAMS College of Pharmacy and as a clinical consultant to the Employee Benefits Division for the pharmacy benefit offered to the Arkansas State Employees and Public School Employees and to the Pharmacy Advisory Committee for the University of Arkansas System.  She works on several Pharmacy & Therapeutics committees including a Targeted Drug Review Committee addressing high-cost drugs. She also works as a consultant for Stephens Insurance.  She teaches evidence-based medicine and other topics to Pharm.D. students at the UAMS College of Pharmacy. Her interests include applying evidence-based medicine to inform drug formulary selection as well as population health policy to establish and maintain access to a sustainable pharmacy benefit.
