Foluso Agboola, MBBS, MPH

Vice President of Research

Foluso is the Vice President of Research at ICER. She is responsible for conducting rigorous analyses and critical appraisals of published medical evidence, managing the broader HTA process on reviews, as well as managing the work of members of the evidence synthesis team at ICER.

Foluso’s expertise is in the application of principles of evidence synthesis in healthcare and public health decision-making. Prior to joining ICER in 2016, Foluso worked at Mass General Brigham Center for Drug Policy, where she developed economic evaluations to accompany rigorous reviews of clinical evidence, assessed the potential cost and budgetary impact of a wide range of clinical interventions, performed clinical forecasting, and developed pharmacoeconomic models. Prior to that, she worked at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health on designing evaluation research and the application of measurement methods to assess public health and healthcare system preparedness. Foluso has authored several peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, and educational materials.

Foluso earned her medical degree from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, and her Master of Public Health degree in Quantitative Methods from Harvard University. In her spare time, Foluso enjoys going on a bike ride or hiking with her family.
