Sol Sanchez, BA

Research Assistant

Sol joined ICER in 2024 as a Research Assistant. She graduated from Boston University in May of 2024 with dual BA degrees in Neuroscience and Psychology. During her undergraduate career, she worked as a Research Assistant at the Cognition and Decision Lab at Boston University where she conducted two independent research projects: one on task-based waiting behavior and affective states, presented at BU’s Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program symposium in October 2023, and a second on task-based waiting behavior, psychopathology, and impulsivity, set for presentation at the Society for Research in Psychopathology conference in October 2024.

Additionally, while at BU, Sol served as the President of It’s On Us, a chapter of the national organization that combats sexual violence on college campuses. In her free time, Sol enjoys traveling, spending time with her animals, and volunteering at a local crisis center.
