Sophia Cassim, BA
Research Assistant
Sophia joined ICER in 2025 as a Research Assistant. She graduated from Northeastern University in May of 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Health. During her undergraduate career, she completed two co-op experiences at The Institute for Healthcare Improvement and The Lenny Zakim Fund. To gain a deeper understanding of public health, she interned at various organizations including The Metropolitan Area Planning Council, The Resilient Sisterhood Project, and The Mass General Brigham Health Plan.
While at NU, she was a Research Assistant at The Action Lab at the Center for Health Policy and Law where she helped support various research endeavors. Also, she was Partnership Manager at The Boston Health Initiative, a student-led organization aiming to educate students about Boston-specific public health issues. In her free time, Sophia enjoys reading and trying new restaurants around Boston.
