Dr. Lavelle has investigated the cost-effectiveness of a range of health interventions, including vaccines, medical devices, genomic sequencing, and pharmaceuticals. Dr. Lavelle is recognized for her expertise in investigating the preferences of patients, caregivers, and other stakeholders in the health care decision making process and incorporating these values into cost-effectiveness evaluations. Dr. Lavelle earned her PhD in Health Policy with a concentration in Decision Science from Harvard University and was previously a postdoctoral research fellow in the Child Health Evaluation and Research Unit in the Division of General Pediatrics at the University of Michigan.
