Yasmine Kayali, BA

Health Economics Research Assistant

In 2022, Yasmine joined ICER as a Program Coordinator, and was promoted to the position of Health Economics Research Assistant in 2024. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Government and Health & Society and a minor in Health Economics.

While at UT Yasmine was an intern at the Dell Medical School where she served as a project liaison between the medical school and its community health partner organizations. She has also gained experience in healthcare operations from working as a project advisor at UT’s University Health Services and through her fellowship with the Kennedy Krieger Institute. Yasmine has a personal interest in health policy and has conducted research on aging care policy in the U.S. In her free time, she enjoys reading and playing tennis!
